🎃 Join us on Friday, October 30th from 4–10 PM for the annual Scott's Addition Booz Crawl!

We’re joining more than 10 local craft beverage makers for a Halloween celebration filled with great drinks, neighborhood exploring, and plenty of spooky fun.

We're getting into the spooky spirit with a special mead release just for the occasion. We'll be pouring a traditional mead infused with pumpkin spices, bringing a little taste of fall to your glass. 🍂

Make your way through the neighborhood, discover some fantastic local craft beverages, and be sure to stop by The Hive to try our newest creation!

👗 Calling all vendors! We still have some spaces left for you!

Our Art on Altamont Block Party is right around the corner, and we're looking for a few more vendors to join us.

On Saturday, October 24th from 12–5 PM, we're taking over a portion of Altamont Ave in Scott's Addition for an afternoon celebrating art, fashion, music, and Richmond's creative community.

🛍️ Along with a variety of local vendors and the Ribbon River Alt-Fashion Market, we'll have a live DJ, capoeira street performances, food trucks, and plenty of fun throughout the afternoon.

There's no fee to participate. Vendors just need to bring their own table and tent.

Interested in setting up shop at the Block Party? Send us a message! We'd love to add a few more vendors to the lineup! 🎶

🎀 👗 Ribbon River is bringing an Alt-Fashion Market to the Block Party!

We're excited to welcome Ribbonriver.RVA to our Art on Altamont Block Party on Saturday, October 24th from 12–5 PM!

We're blocking off Altamont Ave and transforming the street into a celebration of art, music, fashion, and creativity!

The Block Party will also feature local artists and vendors, live DJs, food trucks, capoeira performances, themed raffles, and more. 🎶

This event is a collaboration between Black Heath Meadery, SetBreak Brewing Company, Ribbonriver.RVA, and Richmond Triangle Players at the Robert B. Moss Theatre.

Come for the fashion, stay for the music, art, drinks, and everything in between!

🍯 National Mead Day is tomorrow and we’re celebrating with a limited time flight featuring four special pours!

You’ll be able to try:
🍇 2026 Bramble Bee - Blackberry Melomel crafted with Virginia wildflower honey and blackberries. Semi-sweet, 12% ABV.

🥃 BA Bramble Bee Vintage 2022 - barrel-aged version of Bramble Bee, aged for four years in a Reservoir Bourbon barrel. Dry, 16% ABV.

🥭 Tropical PYITE - A sweet, sparkling session mead with mango, orange, pineapple, ginger, lime, and touches of clove and almond. 7% ABV.

🍎 Krampus Garden - spiced Krampus Kraft blended with Blue Angel, then aged for 18 months in a barrel that previously held raspberry, orange, cinnamon, and thyme. Dry, 14% ABV.

🎨 Art on Altamont is taking over the block!

On Saturday, October 24th from 12–5 PM, Altamont Ave is shutting down for an afternoon packed with art, fashion, food, drinks, music, performances, and plenty to explore.

The Art on Altamont Block Party is a collaboration between Black Heath Meadery, SetBreak Brewing Company, Triangle Richmond Triangle Players at the Robert B. Moss Theatre, and Ribbonriver.RVA, bringing together some seriously creative corners of Richmond for one big celebration.

🛍️ Shop an alternative fashion market and tons of local vendors
🍴 Grab a bite from food trucks throughout the event
🎧 Catch two live DJs keeping the party going
🤸 Watch live capoeira performances right in the street
🍺 Stop into The Hive for mead and SetBreak b**r

👀 You may think you know Jordan, but once the robe goes on, the chest hair comes out, and a glass of mead hits his hand, Jordan disappears, and Gordon B. Mead takes over.

In his debut review, Gordon B. Mead is getting acquainted with Valhalla, our sweet and tart Elderberry and Elderflower mead available in our taproom.

This one has legs, and he noticed.

🍷 With plenty of tannin and a full mouthfeel, Valhalla is bold, rich, and just a little seductive. Exactly the kind of thing he appreciates.
