Good morning beautiful people. I wanted to take a minute to let you all know that we will not be attending the Farmers Market this summer. We had some structural damage to the greenhouse over the winter that needs to be fixed before any growing of plants can happen. Our plan is to tend to this and be back for the 2024 summer market. I'm feeling a bit lost not being able to offer the quality plants you have come to love over the years, but my hope is that you will find good plants and have an awesome growing season. Happy gardening and we will see you in the coming year.💚

Looking forward to Saturday's Market. We will have plenty of mint, lavender, and rosemary. Digging around, I also found a couple of sweet basil plants that need a nice garden. I also have some mature hot red pepper plants that have started producing.

As for Indiana native perennials, we have white yarrow, bee balm, and butterfly flower. As native to Indiana, these plants thrive and are a food source for many insects.

We hope to see you there. 💚

My mind is on the Market. We will have the last of the basil (sweet Genovese and lemon), so if you havent gotten one, you may want to as we will likely sell out. Also, we will have peppermint, pennyroyal mint, and lemon mint available. All of these make fantastic tea and are delicious in many recipes. Small lavender and rosemary are ready and there are still some zinnias, snapdragons, and a couple celosias. Stop out and see us. Remember, if you have used pots you'd like to recycle, bring them to me and get $1.00 off your purchase. Love your Mother. 🌎💚

A notice about next week's Market:

We will have a variety of Indiana native plants available. These are perennials.

White yarrow
Butterfly flower
Bee balm (Monarda-purple)
Swamp milkweed

These will not be available until the July 9th Market. 🌱🌿

Humidity. Bad for my hair, but good for the plants. While they have missed the sun this week, the herbs and flowers have taken on a definite lushness from the extreme moisture in the air. They are beautiful. We will have our full range of herbs this Saturday at Market. Peppermint, basil, lemon basil, Thai basil, chamomile, thyme, oregano and dill. Also, we do have giant yellow marigolds with buds. Stop by, see us, and pick up your favorites for planting and seriously flavorful cooking. 💚

Next week, more flowers will be available.
