On these cold days in the midst of winter it is nice to look back at greener, warmer days. Winter is a time of resting and rejuvenating and preparing for spring and new life. It is a time to plan and prepare for the future. Watching the two year olds get started brings hope and excitement. The mares are getting heavy with their babies of this year. The yearlings are starting on their journey from mommas milk to their first ride. We have our resolutions set. Our show calendars are filling up. Winter is a time of patience while we wait for longer days, warmer weather, and watching what God has lined up for us next.

We had a great weekend at the Boon County Draft and Quarter Horse Sale and the Northwest Missouri Stallion Owners Futurity. Our horses sold well and are off to their new homes to do great things.
Our weanling, WMK MR BOOMBASTIC, was reserve champion in a beautiful class of weanling stallions and open weanlings.
Ester won most of her classes on Twice As Trashy, representing K7 well!
