🌱 Farm Update from Button Buck Farmstand 🌱

The gardens are growing and everything is starting to take off! We’re excited to see our cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, green beans, squash, zucchini, corn, and pumpkins all popping up and thriving. 🌽🍅🥒🎃

This week we planted a second batch of corn to help extend the harvest season, and the bees have been hard at work buzzing from flower to flower, doing their important job of pollination. 🐝

We’re also thankful for the well-needed rain that’s expected tomorrow night. After a stretch of warm weather, the gardens will certainly appreciate the extra drink!

We love watching the farm come to life this time of year and can’t wait to share the harvest with all of you. Stay tuned for more updates as the season grows on!

The boys spent a couple hours out in the sunshine this afternoon tilling the garden beds and getting things planted 🌱☀️ Cucumbers, green beans, strawberries, and even some of the pumpkins are officially in the ground. The Yukon Gold and Russet potato plants have popped up too, which is always exciting to see! 🥔🌿

Nothing better than dirty hands, fresh air, and the start of another garden season! 🚜🍓🥒🎃

This week at Button Buck Farmstand, we’ve been busy trenching the garden beds with the tractor and getting everything ready for another growing season! 🌱🚜

Colton finished planting the potatoes yesterday. We have Yukon Gold potatoes again this year and have added Russets to the garden for the first time! 🥔

We can’t wait to share the progress with you as the season continues. Be sure to follow along for updates, photos, and more from the farm!

Spring is in full swing here at Button Buck Farmstand, and we’ve been hard at work getting our gardens ready for the season ahead! 🌱

Yesterday, we spent the day tilling the fields and laying out the garden beds—one of the most important steps before planting begins. Tilling helps break up the soil, making it loose and workable so young roots can grow strong and healthy. It also improves air flow, helps water reach deeper into the ground, and mixes in nutrients that plants need to thrive.

With the groundwork now in place, we’re just about ready to start planting—and we couldn’t be more excited! Stay tuned as the gardens come to life in the coming days. 🌿
