They were wondering how they were going to stay busy during their retirement years and dreamed of owning an orchard. Three years later they planted the apple trees. With the help of their son, Jeremy, they spent many happy and sometimes not so happy hours tending to the apples and watching them grow. As years passed their daughter, Heather, and her family became involved and helped every fall when

the apples were ready to be picked. Everyone pitched in, family and friends alike, to harvest the apples which were sold at farmers markets and at a little roadside stand. Since that time the family has grown and so has the orchard. In 1998, the barn was built and a few years later a small store was added where the apples could be sold. Then in 2006, Jerry passed away and it seemed that the orchard dream died with him. After struggling for several years to keep the apple orchard productive and healthy, the family was about to give up. That’s when God stepped in and it seemed that He was telling Pat not to give up on the dream. At exactly the same time Jeremy, now married with children, had the same experience. And just like that, we picked up where we left off and we are back in the apple business once again. Now even more than before, this is a joint family effort with everyone getting involved to carry on the tradition that was started more than 20 years ago when Jerry and Pat had a small dream about what they wanted to do in their retirement years. This is now a true “family affair” and we love bringing the orchard back to life. Welcome to our orchard; we hope you enjoy our apples!!!
