At the 2025 Ge**er Right Kind Sale, our friend Bob Greives, of Greives Herefords purchased a right to flush on ELZE J338 MS Society 3M. From this flush Bob has 7 heifer calves. Six of these born early August. (Picture is of part of the six from last week). These girls are going to be great cows with calving ease, high growth and great carcass traits. It was an adventure going to Manhattan Kansas to pickup our herd bull SHF New River 2912 N136 at KABSU. A quick trip out Wednesday and back Thursday turned into an extra 24 hour in Jacksonville Illinois. Thanks to the folks at KABSU for working with us to pick up New River. Also to the service department at the Jacksonville Dodge dealership for getting us back on the road. Also thanks to Matthew for his part in driving and the good conversation. New River is ready to start making calves for spring.
