Today my baby girl turns 6. 🎂

Six years ago, I looked into your tiny face and realized my life had changed forever. In that moment, it became you and me against the world. I didn’t have all the answers, and I didn’t know exactly how the journey would look, but I knew one thing for sure — I would love you with everything in me.

Being your mom has been the greatest blessing of my life. It hasn’t always been easy doing this on my own, but every hug from you, every “I love you mommy,” every little laugh reminds me that every sacrifice has been worth it. You gave my life a purpose I didn’t even know I needed.

People see a little girl who is full of joy, but what they don’t always see is that you are also my strength. On the days when life feels heavy, your smile somehow reminds me that everything will be okay. You are my heart walking around outside my body.

Watching you grow into this beautiful, smart, kind little girl makes me so proud. Sometimes I look at you and wonder how I got so lucky that God chose me to be your mom.

No matter how big you grow, it will always be you and me. And I promise you this: I will always love you, protect you, and stand beside you for the rest of my life.

Happy 6th birthday to my greatest blessing, my best friend, and the most beautiful part of my world.

Things I did that made me feel like myself again:
1. I stopped overexplaining-| let you believe what you heard or whatever you want about me.
2. I chose rest without guilt - I don't guilt trip myself into working overtime's or cooking even when am tired etc. I don't play with my rest.
3. I spent time alone on purpose - so used to spending time alone. I love it so much.
4. I laughedia likereally laughed alitry to daughlove as often as I can. Don't want no face wrinkles
5. I protected my peace - if you in anyway try to affect my peace I will block you! I learned that and I am so loving it.
6. I said no and meant it - my No is No and I move on like nothing ever happened.
7. I went back to things I love - I love to hang out with friends and also dancing. I dance more often.
8. I let go of what drained me - cut them off and drop that baggage. Move on without looking back!
9. I trusted myself again - I made mistakes but | won't let them draw me back or define me
