The chicken heat strike continues and eggs sold out in pre-order this week. I have a couple cinnamon-roll-brioche-focaccia, lots of banana bread, and plenty of plain sourdough, jams, and lemonade concentrate in the Farmstand this morning.

Orders close Thursday at 9 AM so I have time to get everything made and ready for Saturday.

Eggs are already almost sold out because some of y’all sneak in and start ordering while I’m still working on the menu 😂 I only list the number of dozen I know I’ll have available. If the girls give me more than expected, the extras will go into the cooler Saturday morning first come, first served.

Don’t want to pre-order? The stand will also be well stocked with plain sourdough, jams, lemonade concentrates, dry mixes & other goodies for spontaneous shoppers.

Farmstand opens at 8 AM Saturday. Arrive early for the best selection!

10 dozen eggs are in the cooler this morning. Reminder that we are taking a bereavement day and there are no baked goods this week. Eggs will go fast, so arrive early. I will have a few dozen available tomorrow morning as well, if you miss out.

A quick update for this Saturday, 8/22:

We’ll be eggs only this week. We’re taking the week off from baking, so there will be no pre-orders or baked goods this Saturday.

We hope to have approximately 20 dozen eggs available. Eggs will be stocked in the cooler at 8am Saturday morning for first come, first serve pickup, along with jam and dry goods.

Our family is currently in mourning, and we will be observing a bereavement day on Saturday. Messages will not be monitored that day.

Thank you for your understanding and for allowing us a little time away this week.

I will be open & well stocked on Saturday, but I won’t be taking pre-orders this week. I’m taking this week to enjoy some birthday and first week of school activities with the kids, especially with our oldest being a senior. 😢 I will have plain sourdough available for walk up & eggs will be first come first serve—arrive early for bread or eggs. Both sell out fast. See y’all Saturday!
