We've been testing it all week, and we're finally pulling the trigger! We made the switch to animal fats!! 🐂🐂
Our savory lunch and dinner items are now fried in real beef tallow, the old-school way Cajun and Southern kitchens have done it for generations. Crispier crust, better flavor, way more depth.

Heads up, y'all — starting Friday, July 17th, we're adjusting our store hours!

New Store Hours:
Monday–Friday & Sunday: 10am–8pm
Saturday: 9am–8pm

Kitchen hours are staying the same: 10am–7pm daily — so all your favorites (boudin, po'boys, burgers, fried pies, and everything else) are still available on the same schedule you're used to.

With Majors Farm TX's summer milk production, raw milk pickup is also changing — moving to a 2pm–8pm window on pickup days (Tuesdays & Thursdays). Please plan your pickup accordingly!

Y'all, we know it's been HOT in the store lately — hitting up to 90° some days, and our AC just hasn't been able to keep up. So today we're closed while a crew comes in to spray insulate the ceiling.
Byrd AC will also be out tomorrow working on some duct work changes — but don't worry, we'll be open for business while they work around our staff and customers!
We appreciate y'all's patience while we get this fixed. Soon enough, Majors Market will be cool and comfortable for everybody — our customers AND our crew. 💙
