🍷 SOME WINES YOU ONLY GET TO TASTE ONCE.

That became very real during the first Gouger Cellars Farewell Series.

When Gary pulled out bottles from his early winemaking years, a few were literally the last bottle in the cellar.

Once we opened them, that was it.

This weekend, we get to do it all over again.

Farewell Series Part Two takes us into Gary’s earlier years as his winemaking evolved, awards started accumulating and the wines that would eventually define Gouger Cellars began taking shape.

🍷 WHAT’S HIDING IN GARY’S CELLAR THIS TIME?

Apparently, after making wine for this many years, you accumulate a few things you forget about. 😂

During Part One of our Farewell Series, Gary opened old boxes and found some real surprises—including wines where only one bottle remained.

Now he’s digging deeper.

For Farewell Series Part Two, we’re moving forward in Gary’s winemaking journey and opening wines from his earlier years—when experimentation, science, experience and a few awards along the way were helping shape the winemaker he would become.

🍷 ONE WEEK TO GO — FAREWELL SERIES PART TWO!

Part One of the Gouger Cellars Farewell Series was an absolute blast—and we’re doing it again!

Gary opened boxes in the cellar and discovered wines he had completely forgotten he still had. Some were down to a single bottle, which meant those of us in the room got to share something that will quite literally never be poured again.

Now Gary is digging through more boxes for Part Two: The Early Years — Finding His Style.

We’ll be tasting wines from the years when Gary was developing his approach to winemaking, experimenting, winning awards and creating the style that would eventually become Gouger Cellars.

And after Part One, we’ve learned not to make too many predictions about what he’ll find. 😂🍷

🍷 WHAT DO GARY'S, AWARD-WINNING WINES TASTE LIKE DECADES LATER?

We’re about to find out. 😄

This weekend’s first Gouger Cellars Farewell Series tasting takes us all the way back to before Gouger Cellars existed.

Gary will be pulling out some of his earliest wines — bottles that have remained unopened for decades and some international award-winners — and we’ll taste them together while he shares the stories, experiments and winemaking lessons that eventually led to Gouger Cellars.

This isn’t a traditional wine tasting. It’s a chance to visit with Gary, open some bottles we may never open again, and experience a little bit of Gouger Cellars history firsthand.

And Saturday is the day to come! We still have a good number of seats available Saturday at 2 PM, while Sunday is getting much closer to full.

This Saturday & Sunday at 2 PM, we’re opening bottles that have been waiting **decades** for this moment.
