Love this time of year. The beef cattle are getting ready for pasture full time. The lambs are getting big and ready for weaning. Chickens are laying more eggs then we can handle. Finally the trees are starting to bud and bloom.

Spring has apparently sprung for the laying hens. We have 4 dozen eggs ready to go. $4 a dozen. Please message or comment if interested.

Farming is not a job but a lifestyle. Every day has joys and struggles. Being from MN I love the snow. We had a blast being outside yesterday. It brought a lot of challenges though for the sheep. Hauling 50 gallons of water to the barn because the hoses were froze wasn’t a highlight. We also have an ewe experiencing complications with her pregnancy. We hope everyone has a great Valentines Sunday and many thanks to the community for supporting us.

Well hello Helen. One of the pleasant winter surprises is we get a great view of Mt St Helen in the winter when the trees in the distance lose their leaves. If only they weren’t there it’d be pretty epic, but we will enjoy what we have. We just wrapped up our beef processing for the year so now we wait for lambing in a couple months. Be on the lookout as we will start taking 2021 orders soon.

Made a new logo for the farm. Lets just say I’m not a professional. One day I will get one done but this will work for now. We’re officially becoming official.

Happy Halloween! Thanks to the Ridgefield community our kids have enough candy to last a year. Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween.

Beautiful fall sunsets. It looks a little bare in the pastures. We’re gearing up for some expansion next year. Next year we will have a broad selection of beef, pasture pork, and lamb. Stay tuned.

Don’t post many pictures of this side of the farm. We acquired 7 acres adjacent to us this year. Lots of work to be done there but it’s coming along. Couple extra shots of the girls volunteer pumpkins from feeding last year to the pigs.
