Eagleview Farms WV We are a Marine Corps family, starting out on the adventure of farming after the husband was medically discharged.

When we started our little farm if you would have told me that I would be stressing about if our girls were bred so we would have babies born during a certain time of year; i honestly wouldn't have believed you. Now besides the chance of the boers getting worms, I not only stress during kidding season but Im stressing over if we will even have a kidding season when I want it. All so my kids will have the chance to breed their own 4H market animals.

said goodbye to our last little fainter babies today. Oh-me and Oh-my have been adopted to a farm that has some Nigerian dwarfs to be friends with. My heart is happy that they went together, and they are going to get so very loved.

Some days making hard decisions and being an adult about it stinks. Been trying for 3 years to rehome Waco, and taking him to be processed was definitely one of the hardest things I've done. Now Bella on the other hand, after catching her beating the crap out of Martha resulting in us having to put Martha down. And then discovering her being unnecessarily aggressive towards a yearling doe whose head was stuck... she needed to go. It was walking away from Waco, that got me today.
