Bittersweet moment today. Sold my giant drum smoker. Cooked some of the best bbq, just too heavy for me to take to competition without an army to move, lol. Stay tuned for what's coming next!

Attention Attention BBQ Lovers!!!! SBN will once again be sanctioning Smoke on Shrine Lake at the Dorchester Shrine Club in Summerville, SC August 28th and 29th. SBN certified judges there are still spots available to sign up to judge and also Cook Teams there are still open spots to compete!

I remember back in 2024 when I first started competing and heard about the invitational I said I would love to do well enough to be invited one day to this 4 meat competition. I never thought, not only would I qualify in 2025 but I would go on to win the Grand Championship!

In November of 2025 the Southern BBQ Network held its annual Invitational in Moncks Corner, SC in conjunction with the Moncks Corner Lions Club. At our annual membership meeting held this past Saturday Twister BBQ (now Flamemingo BBQ) recieved their banner for winning the Invitational! Congrats Flamemingo BBQ!
