Meadowlark Farm and Mill

Meadowlark Farm and Mill Farmer Owned Whole Grains and Stone Ground Flour Located in the Driftless region, we grow organic wheat, spelt, rye, and open pollinated corn.

Our grains are stone-milled into nutritious flour and cornmeal by Lonesome Stone Milling in Lone Rock, just a few miles from where they are grown. As a staple of the kitchen pantry, folks can now add certified organic flour and cornmeal to the list of locally produced items in their cupboard. Our flours can be found in the breads and pastries of local bakeries, and can be purchased at farmer's mar

kets, area grocers and co-ops, or directly from our farm. We are also starting a heard of grass-fed cattle with a mix of Shorthorn sand Galloways. We should have certified organic grass-fed beef to sell in 2019.

The BEST flour is local and fresh! Note that Wisconsin's Meadowlark Farm and Mill stamps their mill date smack dab on the front. This flour is less than 10 days old. I also scored some local raw rolled (no steam processing preserves flavor and nutrition.) I cannot overstate how important quality flour is to any home cook's baking success. Highly perishable; store in the freezer!
