Sorry I haven't posted in a while, got knocked out with a little allergy induced bronchitis.

The garden is a little (a lot) behind schedule (as always) but we still have some aloe plants in colorful pots on the stand. Just $5 a piece.

Happy Mother's Day!

We still have some marigolds and aloe plants ready to gift to mom.

The marigolds are limited and when they are gone they are gone.

I'll be putting some more aloe out after we get back from Mother's day breakfast. Speaking of mothers, the mama aloe plant is already producing more babies - I swear this girl is busy!

I love the Penn State cooperative extension and all their programs.
I got this bush from their watershed program last fall and I was really looking forward to some pretty flowers this summer, but the heavy snow we had this winter fell from the roof onto the bush and broke it. I am very clearly not an arborist so I did what I thought would work which was take the branch that was still semi-attached and secure it with a zip tie and it seems to have worked. I don't know if I can take the zip tie off and it'll stay but going to leave it for now and then maybe this fall take it off and just see what happens.

Stop by and pick up one of our propagated Aloe cuttings and you'll have sunburn relief all year long.

May the 4th is Vader's official gotcha day.

He is our smallest and loudest farm dog. His brain doesn't quite work so he spins counterclockwise almost constantly. He has a hard time disengaging and is most likely to follow people along the fence line and serenade them with his bark - though sometimes he'll go the wrong direction.

He's gonna be 7 years old this year just like Obi and even though he's loud he is really a lover even if he's kinda clumsy about it.

The stand will be open until dusk-ish every day until we're out.
