B & K Acres We are a small farm that currently have a variety of Chickens & Coturnix Quail eggs for sale. We are a small farm located in McLennan County.

Slowly working on getting a farm stand with baked goods up and running. It started off last year in 2024 with a few chickens for personal egg use, eventually we have grown our chicken flock to over 100 chickens, with the added Coturnix Quail, turkeys and guineas earlier this year our flock is now closer to over 300 birds. We also have Tamuk rabbits and Red Wattle pigs.

Haven't posted much lately but we have been busy on our little farm.
This heat has not been kind to the animals, and yes, they had water, food and fans, but we lost 3 of the newest baby rabbits all in one day, and have lost several hens, a rooster and 1 turkey. While i know my farm animals are for feeding our family, it is never easy to lose an animal due to the heat. But on a positive note, we allowed our little black silkies to sit on her eggs and we now have 3 small new additions. She is an amazing momma and very protective of her babies.

We hatched out 7 out of 12 Turkey eggs we got at auction last month. So excited to see what they are as they get older! ...

We hatched out 7 out of 12 Turkey eggs we got at auction last month. So excited to see what they are as they get older! Hoping they will be friendly like Henrietta was. I sure miss her!
Have 18 more Bronze turkeys eggs in the incubator that we got at auction this month. Would like to keep a couple females and maybe 1 male for laying eggs and possibly hatching.

Still have 2 female hedgehogs that are now 8 weeks old ready for a home. They are friendly, usually use the litterbox, and very curious. Let me know if your wanting a new emotional support pet! I will attempt to get recent pictures of them.

Finally able to hold the baby hedgehogs as they are now 2 weeks old. They are supposed to remain untouched by humans for the first 10 days so momma doesn't reject them. Didn't want any risks with these 5 babies.

Babies babies on our small farm!
We had 5 baby hedgehogs on April 3, and will be 2 weeks old on Friday. Bonnie has done so good with them. Makes a huge difference having a much bigger space for her to nest in. They should have eyes open this week. Hedgehog babies are born blind, deaf and almost naked. Their spines start start developing just a few days after they are born.

We have 7 healthy beautiful baby bunnies that just turned a week old. Had a rough start at the beginning as we had started out with 10 but lost 2 right off the first day and one more a couple days later. Had to bottle feed 2 to get their strength back up as they were not getting feed like the other 5 were. Looks like we are finally getting to where we need to be as the 2 small runts had full bellies this morning after being back with mom last night. She is a good first time momma just had way too many babies at once! šŸ¤£
