Today’s steady rain made the perfect excuse to stay cozy in the kitchen at Windbreak Farm. The sound of raindrops on the roof mixed with the the popping of jars—cowboy candy for the sweet heat lovers and plain jalapeños for the brave souls who like it hot. 🌶️ The jars gleamed in shades of red, green, and gold, echoing the colors of fall just outside the window. There’s something magical about preserving that burst of flavor and color while the world slows down in the rain. Some are hot, some are not—but they’re all full of love from the garden. 💚

We had a baby the other night, then there was a thunder storm!! Soooo, I guess this little guy’s name is Thunder, AND our honeybee habitat is THRIVING!!!
