I just went on a wild goose chase with one of my bucks. Either I didn't latch his cage all the way, or he figured out how to unlatch it, but his cage was empty this morning. I almost had a heart attack! I thought he would have been eaten for sure.

I found him alive and well, but avoiding capture. It took a net and some sweat to get him back to safety.

I've been excited to breed this doe in a few months. I retained her, and her brother, from my doe Apricot.

Lately, though, this doe that I have dubbed 'Blueberry' has been having some attitude problems. It's very unfortunate, but I can't let a doe displaying aggressive behaviors stay on my farm. She won't be staying too much longer.
