Not a joke, just our little piece of heaven on earth ❤️❤️🐽

My 8 year old took her iPad outside and filmed her trying to get Nelson to trust her ❤️❤️🐽

This was just a few hours after we got him home 🏠

Nelson update! Eastern Snouts

08/10/2026

Monday morning, and the Lord gave us a pretty one.

Nelson and Wilhelmina are becoming friends slowly but surely — think middle school dance, but with more snorting.

Also Nelson bit Daddy last night while taking a treat. Not maliciously. Just enthusiastically. Turns out a pig cannot tell where the carrot ends and the man begins, and honestly at 8pm neither can I.

Back to the corporate world, where the only things that bite me are meetings. 🐷

This is Nelson. He eats spring mix out of a red bowl like he’s at a restaurant with a w**e list.

Wilhelmina is playing it cool. Sadie is not — she has personally inspected him four times.

Part 1 of 2. Tomorrow: the fence comes down.

Follow so you don’t miss it. 🐷

Eastern Snouts thank you for allowing us to be his forever home 🐽🐽

Big shout out to Red Bell Run thank you for taking care of this sweet boy and for his care package ❤️

Meet Nelson.

He’s still at his foster home eating his last fancy salad as a single man. Tomorrow he loads up and comes to us for good.

Wilhelmina does not know yet. 🐷

Bonus points if you can figure out why we named him Nelson. 👇

She’s 100 lbs now and still eats exactly like this.

UPDATE
As Nelson-watch continues we are thrilled to report his bloodwork came back good and he is clear for transport (this is giving Mission Control vibes)

Waiting on transport confirmation to firm his arrival date!

Stay Tuned!
