It’s getting closer to being done hood vent is finally in waiting on the plumbing to get done and than certified to pass health inspection. Really hoping to be up and running soon. Building it myself has been rewarding but has taken a lot longer than I expected or thought it would.

Built a wood template of my hood vent and installed it to get all my measurements and mock ups done for the actual hood ...

Built a wood template of my hood vent and installed it to get all my measurements and mock ups done for the actual hood vent that will hopefully get installed soon. Now I know where to cut and where everything will exactly be and go.

One step closer to being able to open soon. All my gas lines were installed today and all cooking equipment was tested and everything worked. Hood vent is nearly ready to get installed finally and than off to the plumber for final plumbing and plumbing inspection than health inspection hopefully I’m ready to open in a few more weeks.

Finished the last of the interior walls and baseboards yesterday and today. countertops are all I have left to build. Waiting on electrical and plumbing and we should be ready for inspections and permits to start up. I hope it will be sooner than later but I can’t control the electrician and plumbers schedules. Trying to start up in September.

Working on and inside the food trailer today kicked my butt but lots more progress made I need to secure all the panels I cut today using adhesive but it was too hot. Once that’s done most of the project I can work on will be done and the remaining work will have to be done by licensed trade workers for the plumbing electrical and gas line work. Than final inspections and license/permits hopefully will be issued.

Gladiator cafe will be setup with a clover point of sale system to accept all forms of payment from cash credit or debt in addition we can accept payment from Venmo. With this system we should also be able to accept online orders as well as orders in person.

Remember a portion of all sales will be donated to the Home Grown Wrestling Club Gladiator kids to help them with equipment gear and scholarships.

Gladiator Cafe is a veteran owned and operated local business. We will be serving Good food for a good cause.

I have been working hard the last few months building this food trailer and it’s getting closer and closer everyday to being ready to serve everyone great food.
