🍁🍎🎃 FALL IS IN FULL SWING AT KEOWN FARMS, AND WE’VE BEEN BUSY! 🌻🍅
I’ve spent a whole lot of time behind the steering wheel lately, and I want to tell y’all a little bit about why. 😊
Our growing season here on the farm has pretty much come to an end. The only crop we still have producing is our okra, and even it has slowed down considerably.
BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN WE’RE DONE BRINGING YOU GOOD PRODUCE! 😉
I’ve been driving for HOURS, putting mile after mile on the truck, going from one place to another trying to locate and bring home the freshest, best-quality fruits and vegetables I can find.
I’m not interested in just filling up tables with whatever I can get my hands on. I want to bring home things that I’d be proud to feed my own family. I look at the quality, the freshness, and the price because I know every dollar matters to the folks who shop with us.
And I can promise you, a whole lot of thought, time, and miles go into what ends up on our tables! ❤️
🌸 NOW, LET’S TALK ABOUT THESE MUMS! 🌸
I made another trip Friday to bring home what I honestly believe are some of the BIGGEST AND PRETTIEST MUMS I’VE SEEN THIS YEAR!
These things are absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and some of them are HUGE! We’ve got gorgeous reds, pinks, yellows, whites, oranges, and some stunning multicolored ones!
🌼 Our mums are priced at $15, $20, and $25 for those BIG, beautiful bicolored ones!
I’ve seen what mums are selling for elsewhere, and I really think you’ll appreciate both the size and the price of ours. I worked hard to find these, and I wanted to make sure our customers were getting something special without having to spend a fortune!
🎃 And don’t forget our stackable pumpkins! ONLY $15 PER STACK! We’ve got some beautiful colors and combinations that’ll look great on your porch this fall!
🍎 NOW ABOUT THOSE ELLIJAY, GEORGIA APPLES! 🍎
If you’ve been following us, you know I didn’t just drive down the road to get these apples! I made the trip all the way to Ellijay, Georgia, apple country, to bring back a wonderful selection of varieties for our customers!
Why drive that far? Because I wanted to find GOOD apples! Not just whatever happened to be available locally, but a selection of apples that people have been asking for, including some varieties you don’t see everywhere.
We’ve got apples for just about everything! Whether you like a sweet, juicy apple to eat right out of your hand, a tart old-fashioned apple, or something that’ll make a fantastic homemade pie, apple butter, or applesauce, we’ve got plenty to choose from!
These apples didn’t just magically appear on our tables. There are a whole lot of miles behind them! 😂🍎
And I’ll gladly make those trips when it means bringing our customers something worth having!

We’ve also got SQUARE BALES OF COW HAY available!
These are great for feeding your cattle and other livestock, but they’re also perfect for fall decorating!
Whether you’re fixing up a front porch, putting together a fall display, decorating for a church event, or just wanting that good old-fashioned country look, square bales make a great addition!
🌾 AND YES, WE HAVE ROUND ROLLS OF HAY, TOO!
For those wanting to do something a little bigger with their fall decorations, we’ve got round bales available for yard displays!
If you’ve been thinking about decorating one of those big round bales for Halloween, making a giant pumpkin, a scarecrow, or some other fun fall display, here’s your chance! 🎃👻
A little imagination and a round bale of hay can make one heck of a yard decoration! 😉
And of course, our hay is available for feeding livestock as well!

We know you have choices when it comes to where you spend your hard-earned money, and we don’t take it lightly when you choose to spend it with us.
When I leave here before daylight or get home late after spending hours hunting down produce, it’s because I want Keown Farms to be a place where people know somebody actually CARES about what they’re buying.
We may not grow everything on our tables this time of year, and I’ll always be upfront about that. But we’re still putting the same care into choosing what we sell as we do into growing our own crops.
Good quality, fair prices, and treating people right. That’s what we’re trying to do.
So come on out, look around, pick out some beautiful mums and pumpkins, grab some of those Ellijay apples and fresh produce, and maybe even take home a bale or two of hay to finish off your fall decorations! 🍁🎃
