I am a 7 acre Blueberry Farm. I grow my berries organically but do not pay the government to be certified organic. I have been growing everything here on my farm without pesticides or herbicides since we bought it in 1990. It involves a never-ending battle controlling the weeds!!! The berries taste 100% better without the chemicals.

Well with all the rain the berries have pretty much fallen off, so I am officially closed for the season! Have a great rest of the summer!

Good morning, it’s a wet Thursday, so I have not started picking yet. I was going to try to pick in the morning, Friday if it’s dry. I will be doing pick your own only for awhile, 8 am until 12 noon. Please message me if you are coming so I will have everything ready. Make sure you have shoes no sandals! My days open will be Thursday thru Saturday. Please remember to text me if you’re coming, preferably the day before at least. I don’t have the usual abundance because of the March 17 freeze but I still have lots. Thank you.

Hello everyone! Slow start for blueberries, just starting to think about turning blue, with the last freeze on March 17, and then a drought things started out slow! But they are starting and I will let you know when! I am thinking that all this rain is making for some fat berries! I will be doing a few orders for customers that I have had for the last 20 years, but mostly will be pick your own!

Well I know you are all wondering about the blueberries! I am sure that you probably saw that three other blueberry farms in this area are closed for the summer because of the freeze two weeks ago, I know how they feel loosing berries. I thought I was going to have bumper crop because they were totally covered with flowers. Well I probably lost half that, but I do see little green ones on most of the bushes, hopefully, God willing I should have some. Closer into the season I will let you know if it will be worth coming to pick! I am sure there will be some!

Well they are not going bloom again, but lots of the berries in the middle of the bushes and the ones under trees already had formed berries, hopefully enough to make us all happy!

Good morning! Well as you all know we had freezing weather two nights ago, the berry bushes were in full bloom, the one thing that hurts the blooms is temps below 32 degrees, not sure if some will still make it but I will let you all know. Prayers are needed!
