The main goal of the SVFC has and always will be to promote the growing, designing and sharing of locally grown flowers. We support the farmers who grow them, the designers who use them and the beautiful people who appreciate their importance and value.
Over the past 2 growing seasons we tried an experiment; selling wholesale collectively as farmers to streamline getting beautiful seasonal blooms to local designers. While we LOVED every single connection we made and treasure all our new friends, hard decisions about the financial viability of this model had to be made. The SVFC will not be returning this year as a wholesale hub.
Don’t fret though! All of our amazing Sacramento area farmers are still operational and growing beautiful fields of flowers for you. You’ll just have to reach out to each individual farm again for their availability. To help, we have created a comprehensive list of local flower farmers and florists who use them on our website. Feel free to reach out to them now to make sure you are on their email lists for spring blooms.
And we will still be here, rooting for our favorite designers and sharing the magic of local blooms with you all.
