Good morning, this is Farmer Ram from Healthy Route Farm, in Rio Linda. Like to share my Gandana production here at the farm. Gandana is a variety of chive, grown and consume mostly in Afghanistan part of China, northern India and Nepal so far l know.

Sharing here , our healthy Route to deal weeds. Land prepared, irriagation set and mulch with black plastic to encourage weeds germination under plastic with moisture and heat, however absence of light will eliminate weeds . The plastic will be utilize several years hence it’s environment friendly compared using chemicals.
We are planting okra and purple sweet potatoes !
Okra will be ready to sell starting July and sweet potatoes will be ready to sell starting mid september !

Good Morning everyone , the morning glimpse of Healthy Route Farm , we have the mustard greens , green Swiss chard ,cilantro and eggs available ,message us !
I am farming in way which connects land , plants and people to make a complete circle ! No waste ,regenerative approach .
Open land heavily mulched with few hundred truck loads of woodchips acting like production machine of insects /bugs where chickens wander and wonder like their ancestors ! They have access of pesticide free leafy greens ,fruits any thing we grow to sell . A picture worths thousand words !

Hello people, how are the rainy days treating you all?
At the farm, I’m keeping busy as I just built my DIY racks in my storage plastic tunnel. Few hundreds of chayotes are now in drier and warmer place. These are seed chayotes , all sprouted 2/each .
All previously posted produce are still available to order and pick up!
