Saguaro Blossom Pet Spa Wow!!! You all are amazing. I can’t believe how good Chunk looks after a groom. Grooming is important for LGDs. Their skin and coat are a huge part of their comfort. Saguaro Blossom did amazing with this old boy and we are so grateful.

When Chunk first came to us he was in ruff shape. His coat was severely impacted and he was quite confused about his new occupation. Since then we’ve been working with him, day by day and working to improve his coat. Two version of Chunk have been lifted from that undercoat and he’s clearly feeling cooler and happier.

Our farm belonged to the Hookam long ago. Their canals can still be seen around Mesa and occasionally you can find remnants of their daily lives. Today I found this small shard while walking the fence line. It helps remind me of how rich our history is.

Anyone from Arizona knows this plant. It’s sold in every hardware store, every nursery, even grocery stores sell Lantana. This is the biggest specimen I’ve ever seen! It’s crawled up into the top of an orange tree, and now it’s pink and white flowers decorate the tree like Christmas lights.

Did about a mile of fence building this last week. The goats now have 50 acres they can graze across. Next steps will be to cross fence and start thinking about pasture improvements.
