Take a minute to admire this photo.
From a sweet gal, who was abused and neglected. To people telling me to just put her down because of her bum foot. We have made an incredible bond, fixed that foot and 100% blessed. Faith's name is anything but a coincidence! As us believers, we know there is no such thing! She is at 3 years lactation and still pushing this goodness! The quart jar is her cream and the water container is her milk. From just once a day milking. She's a queen!
But, her rest days are coming! Hoping to get in with a bull late May! Time for dry up so she can focus on just her, that body and baby down the road 🙏

In the back of my mind, I figured she didn't. We ended up not getting the guys out in a timely fashion but we tried anyway.
Learning moment: once you find your cow in heat. Get that semen as fast as possible. Your window is truly 8-12 hours. Once they stop showing intense signs of heat, that window of opportunity is over. My girls moo and mount. There is no doubt of heat! Do what your instincts tell ya. You know your cows best!
So. Since her foot is all healed we are going to bring her down to the neighbors sometime this summer; hopefully June to get live service!
God's plans aren't always our plans but you best believe His are always perfect!!
Hang in there. As we still expect a baby from Annie the first of August!

Yesterday was eventful!
Full girl crew! Get you one that does it all 💪💪
We gave them a great life with tons of food of all kinds and of course swaddled and prayed over them; thanking them for their purpose in life!

WE ARE GETTING EGGS AGAIN!
Since we moved Nov 1st, it has been anything but easy. Days where I question my life choices. But, we are managing with God's grace. I saw eggs when we first moved but now that my LGDs are completely free, they'd help themselves. Since then, I haven't seen eggs until this past week!!
STORY TIME.
I was getting so aggravated with these birds. I'd call them worthless, horrible birds. Why do I even have you if you stink at the one job youre made for?? Then, I sold 15.. I prayed over those birds. Told them they'll be the bestest layers ever!! And then... it occurred to me.. I've been speaking negative over my birds when I should have been speaking light! Speaking light is hard when you're in the muck and mire of life sometimes.. but I took that moment and tried something. Since that day I sold those birds, I have only ever spoken amazing things! Within 1/2 days.. I was seeing 1 egg! Then 2 eggs! Then 3 and I just got 4 yesterday!! In 4 days we made our first dozen!!
If you think life is hard and you're thinking/saying negative things.. it will continue to be hard and actually worse!! Try try tryyyyy to speak light over EVERYTHING in your life. Best challenge of 2026. It works. God works. Look for yourself and don't just take it from my testimony! Let me hear yours!
