🍅✨High Tunnel Season: The Comeback Tour Begins

High tunnels are cleaned out, plastic is up, and the ground is dry enough to file for a drought complaint.
But don’t worry — this is where the 2027 boujee tomatoes will start their rise to fame.

More room.
More vines.
More drama.
More of Mary’s high‑tunnel royalty getting ready for their early debut.

Stay tuned… the tunnels are empty now,
but they’re about to become tomato penthouses.

🍅🏗️ HIGH TUNNEL UPDATE — BOUJEE EXPANSION IN PROGRESS

Alright y’all… gather around for today’s episode of
“Mary vs. The Weather: High Tunnel Edition.”

We’ve got the high tunnels cleaned out, plastic back up, and as you can clearly see…
the ground is DRY.
Dry‑dry.
Dry like it hasn’t seen water since the dinosaurs.
Dry like it’s been personally offended by the sky.

But we’re not stopping.

🍅✨ BOUJEE TOMATO EXPANSION

We are officially adding on to the first high tunnel —
because Mary said if the weather won’t give her tomatoes,
she’ll build a whole tomato empire herself.

More room =
MORE of Mary’s boujee tomatoes.
The ones that act like they’re too famous to grow outside.
The ones that need shade, filtered light, emotional support, and a skincare routine.

🧹🌱 NEXT STEPS

These tunnels will be:

• Cleaned up
• Ground reworked
• New irrigation put in
• Fresh plastic laid down

All to get ready for early tomatoes for 2027 —
because Mary is already planning next year’s tomato comeback tour.

So yes, the ground is dry.
Yes, the weather is rude.
But Mary is out here building a tomato kingdom anyway.

🍅🔥 RIPLEY TOMATO UPDATE — READ THIS BEFORE YOU START CRYING
Thursday September 3rd 4:20 PM open until dark

Mary has a few — and I mean FEW — Small Ripley Reds on the table today.
This is literally all the fields could squeeze out in this disrespectful, rude, absolutely unhinged heat.

We haven’t had rain in almost TWO MONTHS.
Yes, we have irrigation…
but irrigation is like giving a toddler a Capri Sun when they really need a gallon of water.
It helps, but it ain’t the same.

Tomatoes will NOT grow when it’s over 90 degrees for weeks.
They said “nope,” “absolutely not,” and “we’re done.”
So be thankful these little Ripley Reds even showed up to work.

Now listen carefully:

🏃‍♂️ RUN.
Mary is not holding any.
No orders.
No “save me two.”
No “I’m on the way.”
First come, first serve.

The scale is set.
The tomatoes are ready.
Mary’s patience is… questionable

And before anybody gets dramatic —
at least these tomatoes are homegrown Tims Family Farm, Ripley TN tomatoes.
Not warehouse tomatoes.
Not out‑of‑state tomatoes.
Not “mystery box” tomatoes.

We ALWAYS tell y’all if they’re ours or not.
And Mary will ONLY sell tomatoes we grow on our farm at the shed.

So yes, it’s frustrating…
but at least you’re getting the real deal, grown in genuine Ripley dirt,
not something that rode in on a trailer from who‑knows‑where.

🍑🔥🤣 MARY IS BACK FROM MARKET — COOLER RESTOCKED!

Your girl is BACK from market and the cooler has been restocked with peaches 🍑

Here’s what’s inside

🍑 Peaches — fresh, juicy, and trying their best not to turn into peach syrup in this weather.
🔥 1 Taco Soup — the LAST ONE, treat it like gold.
🫑 1 Stuffed Bell Pepper — also the last one, it’s basically a collector’s item.
🐉 2 Small Dragon Eggs
🐉 1 Large Dragon Egg — this one is the boss level.
🍪 Cookies — because Miss Katie refuses to let y’all be sad.
🍰 A couple cheesecakes — emotional support desserts.
🧈 Butter

And listen…
It is 1,000 degrees outside.
Not 99. Not 102.
ONE. THOUSAND.

It’s miserable.
It’s disrespectful.
It’s the kind of heat that makes you question your life choices.

Please be safe , hydrate, free bottled water in the cooler .

🍑FARM SHED UPDATE — MARKET DAY
Thursday September 3rd 5:30am

Mary is officially headed to South Memphis for market,
which means the cooler light is ON and doing its little glow‑up.

Here’s what’s inside before y’all start running:

🍑 3 quarts of peaches
🔥 2 Taco Soups
🫑 3 Heat & Eat Stuffed Bell Peppers
🍪 Cookies
🧈 butter
🥚 dragon eggs

💧 FREE bottled water for customers because the heat advisory is still acting completely unhinged.

If you buy the last of something, PLEASE let us know so we can update “sold out” until Mary gets back this afternoon.
She will try to restock later — depending on how wild the market gets.

🍅🚫 NO TOMATOES 🍅

Sorry y’all… we don’t even have enough for markets.
We are scraping fields just to make it through.
Late crops are planted, but these late tomatoes said:
“Absolutely not, it’s too hot.”
No rain, no cooperation, no tomatoes.🍅

🤣🔥 UPDATE #5 — TODAY ON THE FARM

Lunch on the farm was Miss Katie’s Taco Soup
and I would show y’all a picture of what it looked like…
but we inhaled it.
Gone.
Vanished.
Disappeared like it owed us money. 💨

So instead, here’s a before picture:
🫙✨ A perfectly full container of Taco Soup
(Use your imagination for the after picture — it’s just an empty bowl and a spoon .)

And for supper tonight?
Miss Katie said “let me bless y’all again.”

🫑 Stuffed Bell Peppers
🌽 Sweet Corn
YUM. YUM.
The kind of meal that makes you sit back and say,
“Lord, I didn’t deserve this but thank you anyway.”

If Miss Katie keeps feeding us like this,
we’re gonna have to start calling the shed a five‑star farm restaurant.

🥵🤣🥣 WE KNOW IT’S 1000 DEGREES OUTSIDE… BUT HEAR US OUT

Yes, it’s hotter than the devil’s front porch right now.
Yes, the air feels like soup already.
But THIS soup?
This is Miss Katie’s Taco Soup — the kind that makes you forget it’s still summer and your hair is sticking to your forehead.

It’s Heat & Eat, y’all.
No cooking.
No turning on the oven.
No making your house hotter than it already is.
Just grab it, heat it, and pretend it’s sweater weather.

Meanwhile, our tomato crops are out there looking pitiful,
begging for cooler weather like,
“Ma’am… we’re tired.”

So if you’re ready to shift into soup mode,
we’re right there with you — sweating, dreaming of fall, and eating taco soup like it’s October.

👑🤣🍉 UPDATE #4 THE WATERMELON KING HAS ARRIVED

Ladies and gentlemen…
Please rise for the national anthem of the Watermelon Kingdom.

Because Robert showed up WEARING his crown today —
and not just any crown…
the official, handcrafted, absolutely ridiculous Watermelon King Crown 👑🍉

He walked into the kitchen like:
“Your majesty has arrived “

Mary saw him and about fell out.
She’s STILL laughing —
like can’t breathe, wiping tears, leaning on the counter for support.

Robert is out here posing with watermelons like he’s doing a photoshoot for Farm Vogue.
He’s ready to rule the fields, judge the melons, and wave at his loyal subjects.

Long live the Watermelon King.
May his crown stay straight and his melons stay sweet.

👑🍉 UPDATE #3 — THE WATERMELON KING HAS BEEN CROWNED

Y’ALL…
Stop what you’re doing because this is IMPORTANT.

Watermelon King Robert has officially received his crown.
A REAL crown.
A handcrafted, watermelon‑themed, absolutely majestic crown 👑🍉

Mary walked down to the shed and saw it sitting there like:
“Your Majesty, your throne awaits.”

And listen…
This is the BEST thing ever.
Mary is STILL over here laughing —
like doubled over, wheezing, wiping tears, trying to get her life together.

Whoever made this masterpiece…
You deserve a medal and a parade .

Robert is about to walk around the farm like he owns 400 acres and a castle.

Long live the Watermelon King.👑

UPDATE #2 — THE “IT’S HOTTER THAN SIN OUTSIDE” EDITION
Wednesday September 2nd 3PM

Alright y’all… here’s where we’re at:

We are down to ONLY 3 Taco Soups left.
Three. The pot is basically whispering goodbye.

ONLY 3 Stuffed Bell Peppers 🫑
If you want one, you better move like you heard Mary yell your name.

Dragon Eggs
Still here, still dramatic, still delicious.

A few cookies 🍪
Because Miss Katie refuses to let y’all be sad.

AND — PEACHES ARE RESTOCKED 🍑
Yes, again.
Y’all keep wiping them out like you’re training for a peach‑themed Olympics.

💧 HYDRATION STATION UPDATE

Mary restocked the bottled water for customers — FREE.
Because even though our fields are out here dehydrated, crispy, and praying for rain,
we still want YOU hydrated in this heat advisory.

It’s so hot outside the air feels like it’s trying to fight you.
But Mary said:
“Not on my watch. Drink the water.”
