🍅🔥 RIPLEY TOMATO UPDATE — READ THIS BEFORE YOU START CRYING
Thursday September 3rd 4:20 PM open until dark
Mary has a few — and I mean FEW — Small Ripley Reds on the table today.
This is literally all the fields could squeeze out in this disrespectful, rude, absolutely unhinged heat.
We haven’t had rain in almost TWO MONTHS.
Yes, we have irrigation…
but irrigation is like giving a toddler a Capri Sun when they really need a gallon of water.
It helps, but it ain’t the same.
Tomatoes will NOT grow when it’s over 90 degrees for weeks.
They said “nope,” “absolutely not,” and “we’re done.”
So be thankful these little Ripley Reds even showed up to work.
Now listen carefully:
🏃♂️ RUN.
Mary is not holding any.
No orders.
No “save me two.”
No “I’m on the way.”
First come, first serve.
The scale is set.
The tomatoes are ready.
Mary’s patience is… questionable
And before anybody gets dramatic —
at least these tomatoes are homegrown Tims Family Farm, Ripley TN tomatoes.
Not warehouse tomatoes.
Not out‑of‑state tomatoes.
Not “mystery box” tomatoes.
We ALWAYS tell y’all if they’re ours or not.
And Mary will ONLY sell tomatoes we grow on our farm at the shed.
So yes, it’s frustrating…
but at least you’re getting the real deal, grown in genuine Ripley dirt,
not something that rode in on a trailer from who‑knows‑where.
