Hello everyone!
First, I want to say I am very thankful for all of the interest and business over the last couple days. I never imagined so many people would buy 15 dozen eggs at a time. As great as that is, my small stockpile of eggs is now gone.
Now, the girls lay lots of eggs every day, and just a couple days ago another batch of chickens started laying eggs. So, production is going to increase over the next month or so. However, for now, I am going to be limiting purchases to 5 dozen at a time. And it almost sounds crazy out loud, but currently I have a short waiting list through next week. So, there might be a short wait for large orders, but as I said, more eggs every day. Delivery will still be available of course.
Ive also learned that I need more chickens. Incubator starts running first sign of spring. If anyone is interested in chickens of their own, I also will be selling chicks as they hatch. I can hatch 40 eggs at a time currently but if there's a lot of interest, I'll buy more incubators. Message me for any more details you might want. I have a variety of breeds of chickens, and also ducks. I didn't plan to hatch ducklings for myself but if someone wants ducklings I can make it happen. Additionally, in late summer early fall, I will have ready-to-lay pullets available to purchase. But don't forget there is a substantial increase in cost at that stage as the chickens are already 4 to 5 months old.
