Backyard Orchard We are a family-run orchard founded in 1994 by Dennis Sauerhage. We grow apples, peaches, and pears. Welcome to the digital home of Backyard Orchard!

Founded by Dennis Sauerhage, we are a family owned fruit business focused on providing locally grown, low-spray produce for the Cincinnati area. During the market season, you can find us at a variety of locations, including Findlay Market, Hyde Park, Northside, Anderson, and Wyoming Market. We are adding new markets this year, so check back here to see where we will be during the week. We also pla

If you come to the orchard, we'll sell you a bushel (40 lbs) of #2 apples for 10 dollars. Number 1s are 25. Varieties available are Gold Rush, Enterprise, Arkansas Black, and Melrose. Orchard hours are 10 to 5 Monday through Friday.

Dennis is heading to Findlay Market for the last market of the year. He still has great variety, including Gold Rush, Enterprise, Pink Lady, Melrose, and Suncrisp apples. He'll be there till 2!

Dennis will be at Findlay Market this Saturday for perhaps his last market of the year. We'll also be at Hyde Park Winter Market at Mad Tree Brewery. Still have Evercrisp, Gold Rush, Arkansas Black, Fuji, and Pink Lady varieties.

We'll be at Northside winter market on Wednesday this week from 4 to 6 pm and Hyde Park winter market at Mad Tree Brewery on Sunday from 10 to 1 pm. Our varieties will include Evercrisp, Gold Rush, Mutsu, Ida Red, Arkansas Black, Fuji, and Suncrisp. Hope to see you there!

No Hyde Park Farmers Market this week. Dennis is at Findlay Market right now till 2 o'clock with plenty of apples and Asian pears.

Fruitopia will occur today at Northside Farmers Market. Peaches,Apples,Pears,Plums and Grapes will be available today. Fruitopia is 3 weeks early this year do to no winter weather in February. Enjoy it only lasts about two weeks.

We are picking Peaches today, Lots of Cresthaven a yellow fleshed freestone variety very sweet. We have quarter peck bags on sale for 5 dollars. We are selling half bushel boxes for 25 dollars. Stop buy the farm to get this price. Fruit stand is open and stocked.

We have a special on peaches and summer apples at the orchard this week. Half-bushels (about 20 pounds) of peaches are 30 dollars, while bushels (40 pounds) of summer apples are 25. Please bring your own container. We're open 10 to 4:30 during the week.

We currently have Red Haven and Flaming Fury freestone peaches at sale at Backyard Orchard from 10 to 4 PM.

We are picking some of the first peaches of the season. Currently, our markets are Northside and Hyde Park weekly, although Findlay will likely be added regularly soon. We are also selling peaches at the orchard during the week, from 10 to 4.
