I spy with my little eye something that is red. (And it's not Daisy's jacket!) Love is all around at Brewer's Hideaway.
Finding beauty in imperfection. Maybe you see splits in these radishes, or maybe like Rachel you see radishes with wide open mouths singing a radish-y song! We hope you find the beauty in imperfection today (and maybe enjoy a radish or two...).
Have you heard about Brewer's Hideaway CSA? This beautiful bounty is from this week's share: swiss chard, radishes, peas, strawberries (and coffee from Little Goat Coffee Roasting!). If you are interested in learning more about a CSA share, send Rachel an email [email protected]!
Are you ready for the sweet tastes of spring? Strawberries 🍓 might come to mind when you think sweet, but don't forget about peas! They pack a sweet and crunchy bite perfect for snacking or adding to a salad. Come by the Co-op Farmers Market today from 9:30-2:00 and say hi!
Many hands make light work. Whether it's thinning cilantro or gathering greens for salad mix, you can always find someone to lend a helping hand on the farm!
Rachel says this garden is currently her favorite, and we can totally see why! It's like a giant salad just waiting to be tossed in a bowl with balsamic vinaigrette...baby bok choy, frisée, oak leaf lettuce, and strawberries!
Daisy's ready to head to the Co-op Farmers Market , are you? Come stop by and say hi today from 9:30-2:00. We can't wait to see you!
Look at them now! Those tomatoes we transplanted are getting so big. Pretty soon they will all be stretching their roots in soil outside their pots.
Teamwork makes the dream work! At Brewer's Hideaway it is inspiring to see kids and adults alike come together. We are building our community with each tomato we transplant and each row we hoe.
Joy. We hope your day is filled with all of the joy this little one felt when she met the new chicks on the farm.
What makes you feel joyful today?
Why did the chicken cross the road?
To get to the Co-op Farmers Market of course!
We will be there with some fresh spring produce including beautiful radishes to share. Radishes are great raw in salads, but they are also delicious roasted and even better poached in butter and served with an over easy egg! 🍳 Add in some spring greens and lunch is served!
We hope to see you today!
Spring is filled with so much anticipation (and all of the work that goes with it)! These pics are from a couple of weeks ago...you should see these beauties now!
Come by the Co-op Farmers Market tomorrow and check out our veggies for yourself!
This sign hangs in the hoop house as a constant reminder and challenge to be better stewards of the land.
So...how can you "green up" in your life?
New life on the farm. Buttercup had her calf! It was so sweet to see This sweet girl watching the calf and even reaching out to pet him. We are still waiting for Dahlia to have her calf...we will definitely let you know when she does!
