My boutique flower farm is a labor of love that I hope to share with you! Porch + Petals is a local, cut flower micro-farm located in the Saint Croix River Valley, near Hudson and River Falls, WI. It all began with two neighbors, who quickly became close friends over summer happy-hours on the porch. We quickly learned we shared the same enthusiasm to grow fresh flowers! Our hope is, each hand-pick
ed bouquet brings a little more joy and happiness to our customers. Our pollinator-friendly approach means we grow flowers with organic fertilizers and minimal use of organic pesticides. Look for the Porch+Petals flower stand, located on the corner of Glenmont Road and County Road F.
--- Caring for your flowers---
Remove packaging and trim stems, at an angle, 1/2'' - 1'' from the bottom. Ensure your water stays clean, remove leaves or foliage from stems that fall under the waterline in your vase. Place flowers in a clean vase, and fill halfway with fresh water and flower food. Keep your fresh cut flowers away from heat and direct sunlight. And, away from ripening fruit and vegetables. When blooms and leaves begin to wilt, simply remove and dispose them. This keeps your remaining blooms fresher, longer!
