🥩👋 Farmer and co-owner Ryan Hanson was a lifelong friend of Ryan Bailey which has now turned into business partners.

Hanson grew up in River Falls and met Bailey in middle school and have since been close friends. Over the years, Bailey spent time trying to convince Hanson to assist on the farm and join him on the farm, which he did in 2019 buying his first beef cows.

What started merely as a hobby, turned into a budding business with friends and family wanting to purchase beef. They realized the demand for their beef was growing and now has led to Cedar Hill Farms where consumers can purchase and subscribe for local beef.

Ryan Hanson assists with business management and supply chain processes and most appreciates the genetic breeding program. Cedar Hill Farms uses a natural breeding program that allows him to find the best bulls to use with our cows. His main goals are what will lead to good marbling and carcass grade to premium cuts of meat.

He’s looking forward to continuing providing quality meat for consumers across the nation! 😊

🥩👋 Multi-generational farmer Ryan Bailey is one of the co-owners of Cedar Hill Farms.

Ryan grew up dairy farming with his mom, uncle and cousins and started raising beef cattle in 2016. Since then, the farm has grown with the core values of providing high quality beef products remaining the same.

Since creating Cedar Hill Farms last year, he has taken on an operations role and is responsible for much of the day-to-day tasks and enjoys the relationship he builds with his customers most.

He’s oftentimes the one responding to emails and happy to answer questions at [email protected] or at 715-529-2266. 😊
