A big thank you to Meghan Downing at MidWest Saddle Fit and Nexus Saddlery for helping us get her set up in a saddle that fits her beautifully as she moves into this next stage of training.

We’re excited to welcome Daryl Kinney Eventing back to Scenic River Farms this fall for two clinic weekends!

It’s time to get registered for our upcoming clinics with Daryl Kinney Eventing at Scenic River Farms and Z's Cross Country Course !

We’ve just added a September 19–20th clinic, and registration is open for the October 10–11th clinic as well.

Daryl brings a thoughtful, systematic approach to training with an emphasis on education, confidence, and producing horses and riders who understand the “why” behind their work. Her clinics are designed to give riders practical tools and those valuable a-ha moments they can take home and continue working on.

One Day - $195

Overnight and day stalls are available at Scenic River Farms.

Day 1 was a success for Rosebank (aka Nova)!

Nova earned her final First Level qualifying score for Regionals! We are so proud of this mare and all the work she and Bridget Bursey have put in to get here.

Rosebank (aka Nova) had a great schooling day at the Northern Lights Dressage Show! This was a big accomplishment for our young mare, as she made the trip all by herself and handled the experience like a true big girl.

She settled in beautifully, took everything in stride, and put in a productive day of schooling away from home. These outings are such a valuable part of building confidence and preparing young horses for the show environment.

We are so proud of Nova and love watching her grow into the confident, capable mare we know she will be!

We’re excited to ​announce that we are expecting a very special dressage prospect ​next spring!

Le Petit E’Cureuil (Gem) is due in early May, bred to​ the highly regarded ​sire, For Romance.

For Romance is known for producing foals with excellent demeanors, natural balance, trainability, and rideability, and he comes from a highly successful Voltaire dam line.

Gem has consistently produced foals with a lovely combination of athleticism, talent, and sweetness. We’re excited about the opportunity to combine those qualities with For Romance’s trainability, ​e​xcellent gaits, and good ​d​emeanor.

This is a cross we have been looking forward to, and we can’t wait to meet this foal and see what this pairing produces​!

Our arenas were filled with three great days of learning from Cyril Pittion-Rossillon Instructor and Coach this week!

Cyril joined us to work with dressage, eventing, and hunter riders on both dressage and jumping. His classical French riding instruction brought a thoughtful focus on harmony, lightness of the aids, and developing willing, confident horses.

We’re grateful for the knowledge and perspective he shared with our riders and trainers and for a productive three days in the arena. Stay tuned for dates for Cyril’s winter clinic series at Scenic River Farms, we’re looking forward to having him back!
