Walker Farm Walker Farm is a Century family farm located in River Falls, WI. We promote traditional values with farm to table practices. Come check us out!!

Family farm established in 1897 in River Falls, Wisconsin. The farm raises beef cattle, chickens and pigs for meat sales as well as crops that include corn, soy beans and hay. We also have a wonderful variety of laying hens that provide us with eggs that the family uses in everyday life as well as extra to sell! Some permanent fury/feathered pets include sheep, horses, ducks and geese.

We are slowly getting back to LBF (Life Before Fire). With that comes our resumption of our wonderful relationship with a local food pantry.

It’s time for the big reveal!!!

I couldn’t get a “live action shot” because Chicken Nugget definitely requires 2 hands!

Chicken Nugget came in at 20.8lbs!!

Fun little fact, he is less than 3 pounds away from the Guinness world record so stay tuned… Maybe he could gain even more fame in a few months!

 Therefore after going through all the posts on all platforms, the winner is Toni Velure with a guess of 20.5 lbs, who has the closest without going over! Honorable mention goes to Tia Wakefield with a guess of 20.4lb.

Toni will be receiving a $50 gift card to the farm store and Tia,a $15 gift card.

It is time for the final picture clue!

If you didn’t appreciate the size of chicken nugget before, hopefully this will give you a better idea!!

I will look through all the guesses up until noon on Sunday and then we will find our winner!

The closest person to guess chicken nuggets weight without going over will win a gift card to the farm store and maybe even a winners picture with the chicken himself!

Let’s do something Fun!!! A little contest perhaps?

As we round out 4 months since our tragic Barn fire we look at our growth, our struggles, our triumphs and our overall “still here!”

As many of you know we lost many wonderful animals but a few survived including the miracle chicken, Chicken Nugget!!

Well he has grown…and grown….and Grown…..and GROWN!!

He is well past his usual point of “moving on” but we have let him live out the good life.

But this is where we get to have some fun! We are going to have little contest on guessing Chicken Nuggets weight!!

For the next week we will be posting comparison photos of Chicken Nugget to aid in the guessing. Closest person to guess it without going over will get a Farm store gift card.

So let’s begin!!😋
