Catering Available! With the family recipe being handed down, sister and brother Teresa & Antonio began to recreate their Mother's banana leaf-wrapped tamales at their local Modesto farmer's markets. After a season of selling them locally, they got a break when they were invited to sell them at a Bay Area Farmer's Market. Ever since, Oaxacan Tamales has Expanded to include 14 different locations throughout The Central Valley, San Francisco Bay Area, and San Diego.

On December 3rd, we lost our rock. The inspiration behind what we do, the reason why, 10 years later, we continue making a living making tamales. Our momma taught us so much, and in passing, she remains teaching us.
If you ever enjoyed one of our tamales, she's the reason. Her love will forever remain with us, and we hope to carry on her legacy through her recipes. We love you momma ❤️

Big thanks to all of you who have come out and supported us these last few months. This past May, we completed 10 years slanging tamales. It's a trip stepping back and seeing how far our mommas recipes have taken us. In recognition of her and all she has taught us, we are giving away a few dozen tamales!
