We've decided that it is time to close the doors of Urban Dreams Farm's business, effective 12/31/2024.

All current in house orders will be completed in the early months of 2025, but we are no longer accepting any new orders while we focus on selling the mill equipment (and if anyone has a serious interest in purchasing a working fiber processing and spinning mill, please feel free to contact me). It must be purchased as a complete unit, we won't be piecing it out, and it must be moved to a new location).

Coming to the Mill in November -be sure to mark your calendars!

**CANCELLED** OPEN MILL DAY - Saturday November 9th - I hate to do this but because of illness, we won't be having November Mill Day

**POSTPONED, WILL BE RE-SCHEDULED** TOES FIRST SOCK KNITTING WORKSHOP - Monday November 11th is also cancelled but will be rescheduled. We should have everyone who signed up contacted but if you haven't heard from me, please reach out.

MICHIGAN MACHINE KNITTERS GUILD FIELD TRIP - Monday November 18 You don't have to be a guild member, if you're curious about what can be made with a flat bed knitting machine (the sweater in the photo was made using an LK150 for example), this might be the perfect opportunity for you! Stop by the mill and see machines and knitters at work. No fee, but it would be helpful if you could let me know if you're planning to stop by.

I'd like to introduce you to the newest member of the farm's fiber flock. Meet "Kevin" a white Corriedale ram (male sheep)! Kevin comes to us from Beth at Woolly Bear Farm right here in Michigan. Soon he'll be meeting up with the ewes (females) and if all goes well, I'll be welcoming some lambs come spring with lovely fiber. I'm crossing Kevin with my two Corriedale/Shetland ewes, Umber and Ursula.

Come out to the mill this Saturday, November 9th for Open Mill Day and say hello to Kevin! Doors open at 10 am.

Just a reminder that this coming Saturday, October 12th is Open Mill Day here at Urban Dreams Farm! We're really looking forward to welcoming Renee from Tail Spin Farm to demonstrate the Spinolution Spinning Wheels! We hope you can join us to meet Renee and check out these quality wheels.

If handspinning is not your craft, still free to come and bring whatever hand craft you do enjoy. Visit with other like minded people, enjoy the mill/farm as the autumn colors start to arrive and see what we have to offer. Doors open at 10 am and no registration is required.
