We will be open every Friday and Saturday from 9:00AM until 4:00PM selling fresh wreaths and small live trees. We are also having a tag sale of store and barn contents. Unfortunately we have no cut trees but we highly recommend Schmitt’s Farm Stand. They have two locations - one on the corner of Roanoke Ave and Sound Ave in Riverhead and one on Main Rd in Laurel across from the post office. We got our tree from them and it is beautiful fresh and exceeds the marked size.

We will be open daily from 9:00AM until 4:00PM until Christmas Eve, selling fresh made wreaths, small potted trees and will be liquidating the contents of our Christmas shop.

Unfortunately, due to the reckless, vengeful policies of the current White House, costs have been driven to a level that will no longer allow us to provide you with fresh cut Christmas trees. We will be selling all of our tree equipment and having a garage sale at the same time.

On Christmas Eve when we turn out the lights, it will end the 71 years of our family’s business started by my father in 1951! We wish you all a blessed Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.

P.S. Please stop by the shop for free hot chocolate and cookies. We’d love to see you and offer our sincere thanks for your patronage over these many years!

We would like to thank all of our loyal customers and our many new customers for your help and understanding and making this another successful and joyous Christmas season here at Olsen’s Tree Farm

Times are difficult for everyone and Christmas was meant to be an uplifting experience despite those who would like to change our traditional way of life. For both of us it is particularly important due to health issues and the changing world around us. You may not realize it, but the mere fact that we were able to work and interact with all of you was the best therapy for both of us. We hope it was just as pleasant for you.

The generous, willing help of our brother-in-law Vincent, was a key factor to that success along with all of your kind words, thoughts and happy visits.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts and with God’s blessing we will see you again next year.

Quick update on our hours of operation for those of you who still haven’t gotten your Christmas tree.

We are open Sunday through Thursday from 9:00AM until 6:00PM. On Friday and Saturday we are here from 9:00AM until 9:00PM.

To all of our loyal friends, family and customers:

The Christmas season is upon us again and if you’re like us, you’re thankful to have made it through another year in these troubled times. We would like to thank you all for your help and patience during the difficult Christmas season last year. Without your help and understanding it would not have been possible.

We would particularly like to apologize to those of you who were not able to get the tree you wanted- especially towards the end of the season. It was impossible to predict the demand and this year will be no different due to supply shortages and trucking difficulties. Despite increased product and shipping costs, we intend to stick to last year’s pricing!

We have been assured and paid for, our full order this year, including a few 10’-12’ trees - which we did not have last year. Health continues to be an issue, but we will have a little additional help and with your help and understanding we shall have a joyous season, as it should be in America.

To all of our loyal customers we want to thank you for another great Christmas season.

For the first time ever, we’ve completely sold out of all of our trees - and a week early! We are still open for wreaths, tree stands and other Christmas accessories, so feel free to stop by.

Welcome to another Christmas season at Olsen's Tree Farm(DBA GLASKOE Inc). Incidentally, the name GLASKOE represents the initials of our six grandchildren plus our last name. Graeme, Larissa, Annalise, Scarlett, Kate and Emily with Olsen thrown in between.

This year we will have a great selection of Fraser Fir, Concolor Fir and Canaan Fir - all fresh cut and grown in New York state. Plus, our usual fresh, handmade wreaths from 20" to 6'!

This has been and will continue to be a challenging year. I suffered a life threatening illness in July. A tick born disease called Babesiosis has left me with diminished physical and recall abilities. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and with your help and understanding, we should be able to continue. Your help in carrying your trees, bailing them and tying them to your vehicles will help us to carry on in this business we love so much. We will try to to as much as possible, but at this point, we must also recognize our limitations. The most important part of our business is seeing our repeat customers, year in and year out. We love watching their families grow and it has been the most rewarding experience since my father started the business in 1951.

Adding to the challenge of course is the China Virus. Because of this, we must require the use of masks and safe, social distancing at the farm. We will of course, have hand sanitizer available to all of our customers. The added threat of government forced closure adds to an already difficult situation. That said, I have faith that we will all work together to make this another joyous Christmas season - despite the outside threats against us.

In addition to our regular Frazier, Balsam and Canaan Firs, we also have Concolor Firs! Come on by and check them out! Soft needles and a citrus aroma have made these evergreens a popular option for Christmas.

Fresh wreaths from 20” to 55” are made right here in Santa’s workshop where we also have last minute items such as ornaments and tree stands.

Also don’t forget hot chocolate and cookies for kids of all ages!

Hello all! I created this page for mom and dad and will do my best to respond to all of your comments in a timely manner.

One correction I need to make is their hours. This time of the year, mom and dad are at the shop from 8AM until 9PM, 7 days a week.
