🌧️ Rainy day project at Garden of Eve Farm! There’s a lot that goes into getting garlic ready for the CSA. 🧄

After we harvest, we cure the garlic in the greenhouse for 10 days. Then it moves to a cooler, dark space for storage.

The final step is cleaning it up—removing the stem, dirt, dry outer skin, and clipping the roots.

Lots of work, but so worth it! 💚

This week’s CSA is bringing the HEAT! ☀️🌱

Jalapeño + Ancho Peppers are taking center stage, ready to turn your homemade salsa, sauces, and summer dishes up a notch. 🌶️🔥

We’re packing the Jalapeño and Ancho peppers separately, so you’ll know exactly which peppers bring the spice!

And don’t worry—we’ve still got plenty of juicy tomatoes 🍅 and summer veggies to fill your shares.

We’ve built custom DIY insect netting to protect our harvest and put the lights out on lanternflies! 🚫🪰

This creates an effective physical barrier against them and plenty of other garden pests without relying on harsh chemicals. 🌿💪

Organic farming isn’t always the easy route, but protecting our soil, plants, and community is worth every extra step! 🌱 💚

Need Peppers? No Poblano! We Got You Covered! 🌶️

Poblanos are growing abundantly in the fields! Mild, earthy, and delicious roasted, stuffed, or grilled, these versatile peppers are a favorite for easy weeknight meals and backyard grilling.

Fun fact: Poblano means “from Puebla,” the Mexican state where these peppers originated.
