Part 2 of the Hampton Classic that never posted! Our "big kids" were also phenomenal and represented Rocky Hill Farm incredibly well at this year's Hampton Classic! Some were on horses or ponies who had never been there and some were on seasoned horses who were pros showing their kiddos the ropes! Congratulations to everyone that showed, we are very proud of each and every one of you but you already know that!

A long overdue post! Somehow we never posted the Hampton Classic photos from this year! We are so incredibly proud of our two leadline riders! Miss Paisley was the winner of her section in the 2-4 year olds and was 3rd overall in the ride off on Rocky Hill Farm's Oopsie-Daisy! Miss Harper was outstanding and showed major improvements from last year in the 5-7 year olds, a small blip in the question portion but a fabulous showing for her on her Itty Bitty Pretty One!
Congratulations to these 2 young riders and look out for them in that show ring, they are working hard!
Stay Tuned for the "big kids" post!

TLAER Training Notes

Good morning everybody, we're just a couple of days away from our TLAER training. We're excited! I hope you are.

Just a few notes about the training:

- Check-in will be between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. THE TRAINING IS RAIN OR SHINE, we have a large enough indoor arena if we should need to be indoors. Bring rain gear just in case.

- Everybody should be there and ready to go by 9 am

Things you should bring to PARTICIPATE
-GLOVES
-Any technical gear you would normally wear for a Large Animal Rescue Call
-The clinicians always recommend wearing a helmet for any Rescue situation so if you'd like to get real life hands on training you can bring a helmet as well.

-If you have any type of Rescue gear at your home barns you may bring it to receive the proper training on such gear.

-Lunch will be provided

-There will be a Power Point presentation with a Question and Answer portion. Please bring ALL of your Questions, they LOVE to educate people to help save lives!

-PLEASE BRING A CHAIR!

-The training is expected to last until about 3 or so. Everyone is welcome to stay after and ask questions as well.

**The day will begin with the Power Point (this is where you will want your chair) and Q&A

Following will be the technique and equipment training

Lunch

Hands on Rescue situations to practice and perfect the techniques you learned.
