Petit Verdot is always the last fruit to leave the vine at RGNY. Harvested on 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, it stayed in the vineyard until the very end of the growing season—gathering depth, structure, and character with every extra day.

Merlot said: 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙮. 🍇🔥 
Across the rows, green berries are giving way to deeper shades of red and purple as veraison moves through the vineyard. It’s a subtle shift, but an important one — the fruit is softening, sugars are rising, acidity is beginning to settle, and the personality of this year’s Merlot is slowly taking shape. 
There’s still plenty of growing season ahead, and that’s part of the beauty of it. From here, every sunny afternoon and cool North Fork night becomes part of the story. 
For now, we walk, we watch, and we let the vines do what they do best.

If you joined us for Dinner in the Vines, you got an early preview of something special: our 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗥𝗚 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗼𝘁. It’s patience made tangible. And this September, it takes center stage. 
Our 2024 RG Petit Verdot will make its official debut to 𝗥𝗚𝗡𝗬 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟮 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘂𝗽 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆—a gathering at the vineyard to pick up the season’s w**es, celebrate together, and get first access to what’s coming next.  Petit Verdot is always the last fruit to leave the vine at RGNY. Harvested on October 29, 2024, it stayed in the vineyard until the season had almost nothing left to give—gathering depth, structure, and character with every extra day.
