We've won another award for Bourbon Spring® young rested Illinois whiskey! Bourbon Spring® continues to win the most awards of any of the spirits distilled by Quincy Street Distillery. In production for almost a dozen years now, it remains Quincy Street's most popular whiskey.

Bourbon Spring® won two Gold Medals in 2014, in the Beverage Testing Institute’s North American Whiskey Reviews where it was rated 91 points and also in the annual Artisan Awards tasting in San Francisco. Bourbon Spring® won two Bronze medals in 2018, in The Distilled San Diego Spirit & Cocktail Competition and in the Great American International Spirits Competition. And in 2020, Bourbon Spring® won a Gold Medal from the Bartender Spirits Awards.

John Collins made with Bourbon Spring® young rested bourbon whiskey:
In a Collins glass nearly filled with cube ice, add:
2 oz Bourbon Spring®
1 oz fresh-squeezed lemon juice
1/4-1/2 oz simple syrup (depending on desired sweetness)
top off with carbonated water (about 2 oz)
garnish with cherry and orange slice
The John Collins is the nominal precursor to the Tom Collins, although there is some debate as to whether it was originally made with whiskey or aged genever.
