Oh my, this is aweful!!!

Investigators in Mercer County, Ohio, are searching for suspects after 64 Holstein calves were stolen in what the sheriff describes as a highly coordinated livestock theft.

Sheriff Doug Timmerman told Farm and Dairy that the scale and speed of the theft, committed sometime the night of May 2, suggest the perpetrators were experienced in handling cattle and had a ready outlet for the animals.

“This is somebody that completely understands the industry and how it works,” the sheriff said.

Hoping to repair this old spring box water source (hasn't been used in years) for livestock waterer. It is already hooked to pump house with working power. Lots of clean up needed around it and on top to get lid off and see down in there. Has anyone else successfully repaired a concrete spring box like this and have helpful suggestions?

ISO...Who do you know that can turn a spring into a livestock water source (no power near spring)? 1 spring is at the lowest point on our property so not sure gravity fed is an option but possibly for a second site.

And, have you used them personally or why do you recommend them? Any additional info (esp. Pics of work completed) would be helpful!

📖 I spent the day in "Understanding Rulings of the Supreme Court of Virginia" class hosted in Charlottesville by the Commissioners of the Revenue Association of Virginia as part of their Career Development Program. 🚙 Came home and 🤠 moved & separated both groups of cows 🐂 so we can take more calves to the market tomorrow. Thankful for help!! Got in the house after 9 to eat dinner 🍕 and get ready for bed (& another day of study tomorrow). just left on a🚒 🏠🔥 fire in a house call. All in a days work!
