In addition she raises bees and dairy goats while her husband focuses on the beef cattle. Her love of nature and medicine come together in her work as a Clinical Herbalist-working to grow good health in and with everyone she works with. Finding it hard to secure herbs that met her high standards, Katherine began growing her own to make sure that the herbal products she provided her clients were in

deed fresh and potent. This includes ginger, turmeric, ashwaganda, astragalus and many other popular but hard to secure fresh herbs. Katherine is an educator, finding that hands on experience is important, she provides workshops, plant walks and volunteer opportunities throughout the year. "Know your source and grow good health!"

Our farming practices work with nature, without the use of chemicals. Methods we use include rotationally grazing all our animals, IPM, mulching & composting. In turn, our plants and animals thrive. They are healthy animals that do not require antibiotics, supplements or other supports. With year-round access to fresh air, clean water and energy-packed forage, they in turn yield clean, nutrient-rich food for our community. CERTIFIED NATURALLY GROWN
