It’s Opening Day at the Brownsburg Farmers Market! 🎉 Brownsburg Parks and Recreation

And it’s our first season back since 2019!

Here’s a little throwback to our time at this market from 2016–2019. Boone made his very first farmers market appearance when he was just 2 weeks old! ❤️

The boys have grown up a lot since then, and you will no longer see produce on the table-but one thing has stayed the same—our commitment to providing our community with quality pork and chicken raised by our family.

Up and at ’em early! 🐥☀️

I had some great help getting a new batch of chicks settled into the barn this morning. Poor Boone was surrounded by boxes of peeping chicks after we picked them up from the post office—thank goodness it’s a short drive home! 😂

Briggs discovered a new use for the pocket on his Carhartt t-shirt: chick carrier. Capacity: 3 chicks.

The chicks are settling in nicely. The barn is set at 92 degrees, feeders and waterers are full, and everyone seems happy and content.

🍽️ Meal Plan Sunday is Back! 🍽️

It’s been a while since I’ve shared one of my Meal Plan Sundays. This week is shaping up to be a busy one, and having dinner planned out for the Gordon boys helps me feel just a little less stressed. 😊

Here’s what’s on the menu this week:

🥩 Sunday: Ribeye steak sandwiches on the grill (from our friends at RK Cattle Company )
🐓 Monday: Grilled chicken wings
🌮 Tuesday: Taco Tuesday — mixing 1 lb of chorizo with 1 lb of ground beef
🍍 Wednesday: Sweet & sour chicken & rice
🐖 Thursday: Pork shoulder roast in the crockpot

A little planning now means less scrambling at dinnertime later!
