Our Goats are no longer On The Go

It feels strange closing out a chapter before it truly even started, but such is life !

The short and sweet is...we have both accepted new full time jobs in the past few months and have realized that our new schedules are not compatible with a targeted grazing operation. We are so appreciative of the support we have received up to this point, but with one of us being routinely on call, and the other working 24 hour shifts, we just can't efficiently (and humanely) commit to having our goats off property. There are just too many unknowns that could come up, and we won't have the flexibility to get to the goats in an emergency, if needed.

Over the coming weeks, we will be decreasing our herd size from 24 to 10. We aren't getting rid of everyone ! After all, this all started because a girl wanted goats. 😎

We will continue to share farm updates and animal shenanigans across our socials, AND, the goats we do keep will be available for birthday parties, prom-posals, etc ! (Those events are less time intensive and can be better scheduled around work.)
