🚨 **GRILL SERGEANT UPDATE** 🚨

Well folks... it appears **Grill Sergeant** has become a **prisoner of shipping.** 😆📦

We've been assured he'll finally arrive **tomorrow**, so we're counting down the hours until we can spring him from captivity, get him assembled, and put him to work.

Don't worry though...

**Black Betty** isn't waiting on backup. She's already gearing up to put in another overnight shift.

And once Grill Sergeant reports for duty, the two of them are gonna **smoke up Roan Mountain** just in time for the festival! 🔥🍖

That means more ribs, more brisket, more pulled pork, and more of that low-and-slow BBQ y'all keep coming back for.

Thank y'all for sticking with us as we continue to grow. We can't wait to get Grill Sergeant on the job and let him earn his keep.

🚚 **GRILL SERGEANT UPDATE!** 🔥🍖

Well folks, we're still waiting on **Grill Sergeant** to arrive.

At this point, we're not sure what the transportation company is doing... maybe they're out there cutting donuts instead of delivering smokers. 😆

As soon as he gets here, we'll get him gasketed up, seasoned, put together, and ready to report for duty.

Here's how the Smoke Wagon pit crew is shaping up:

🔥 **Black Betty** – Commander of Brisket & Pulled Pork
⛽ **Lil Gassy** – Chief of Chicken & Sausage
🫡 **Grill Sergeant** – Reporting for Rib Duty (as soon as he gets his marching orders!)

Y'all have been buying us out of ribs almost every weekend, so Grill Sergeant has some big boots to fill. His mission is simple: **keep those ribs coming!**

Thank y'all for being patient as we continue to grow. Every new smoker means more BBQ, shorter wait times, and a better experience for this amazing community.

Well folks... it looks like Black Betty has managed to stay out of trouble this time. 😇

Unfortunately, the law has shifted its attention to the newest member of the Smoke Wagon family...

Authorities say he's wanted on multiple charges, including:

🚨 Illegal food smoking
🚨 Distribution of dangerously delicious BBQ
🚨 Causing unexpected food comas
🚨 Aggravated assault on diet plans
🚨 Possession of excessive flavor with intent to share

Witnesses report that every piece of evidence mysteriously disappears shortly after it's served.

👑 New Pit Boss Name Coming Tonight!

Some of y'all may recognize the gentleman in these old photos. This is Jack—the man who built a place that so many people in Roan Mountain remember fondly.

Our dream is bigger than just serving great BBQ.

Our dream is to bring **Jack's Country Market** back to life while giving **Smoke Wagon** a permanent home under the same roof. We want it to be a place where folks can grab a meal, pick up a few things, sit a spell, swap stories, and make new memories—just like so many did years ago.

Will it happen overnight?

No.

It'll take time, hard work, patience, and a whole lot of God's grace.

There will be bumps in the road, but we believe that if God keeps opening doors, we'll keep walking through them.

To everyone who has shared stories about Jack, this building, and the memories made here... thank you. Those stories remind us that we're not just restoring a building—we're helping preserve a piece of this community's history.

Please continue praying for us as we work toward this dream. We can't do it alone, but with God's guidance and the support of this amazing community, we believe something truly special is ahead.
