This year, first cutting numbers are coming in above average, so the extra storage space was needed.

It's a cold one out there today! Ever wonder how chickens stay warm when it's below freezing? While feathers do a lot of the work, we help them out with a secret weapon: afternoon corn snacks.

Here's the science:
1️⃣ Digestion Heat: Corn is high in carbohydrates. As the birds digest it overnight, it generates natural metabolic heat.
2️⃣ Extra Energy: Fighting the cold burns a lot of calories! Corn gives them the boost they need to stay healthy and keep laying.
3️⃣ Boredom Busting: Scratching for corn in the coop keeps them active when they can't get out to the run.
