It’s been awhile since we posted! We stay so busy! Garden didn’t do great last year due to the deer so I’m hoping for better results this year. We put up our netting around the entire garden and have it planted. This year we will have Garlic, onions, tomatoes, peppers, green beans, okra, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, and pink eye purple hull peas. Ava is doing 4H chicks this year so we currently have 18 baby chicks along with our older flock. I was able to do some canning last year to put up tomatoes, salsa, scuppernog jelly, peach jelly, and did my first ever beef tallow beard cream and body cream. We also got our shop built and Casey’s office off the shop almost done. I’m hoping to plant some fruit trees soon! Stay tuned for all the things we have coming up!
