Joseph Hodel has been working hard all year on the farm to pay off his own calf and now it is time to go to locker. Let me know if you are interested in buying a 1/4 beef from the best young farm hand and I will have him call you👍🥩

It is a crappy job, but somebody has to do it! 😆🐃💩

Had to tuck the guys in with a few extra bales of hay for a bed. Looks like they are enjoying it! Hope everyone stays as warm as 8,000 lbs of beef snuggled in a pile of hay😉

So learning to be a real farmer requires observational skills. Yeh, something’s wrong here. I wondered why the tractor wouldn’t move real well. Oh another day on the farm. 🤠👍Yeehaw

Hello folks. A good days work done. I learned a lot as always. We were able to get 3.5 lbs out of 5 lbs of raw meat. I did cut the meat in 1/8 not 1/4 thick slices. I also found it better to remove properly dried meat at different times as the thickness and type of beef drys differently. It was a good project for a snowy day. Stay safe and warm and be thankful for all God has shared with us.

P.s. Our little herd is staying warm and content in their cozy barn. I asked them and got a few nods😉.

Papa D. 🤠👍Yeehaw.

Today I have ten pounds of yummy beef to make. Great snowy day project. Update you later I have work to do. 👍🤠Yeehaw. Papa D.
