About Low Creek Beef I have been farming and assisting on this land since 1970 when my father bought the initial farm from the local sheriff. It was an old farm place with good soil and history of cattle. I guess that’s how I got started with cattle, my dad worked them and we helped all we could, learning all the while. I
returned from the Marine Corps and landed right back on the farm, not much had changed and I still enjoyed tending the cattle and all that is involved in doing so. I met a local girl I couldn’t live without so we said our vows in 1999, and we now have two wonderful children that love the country life as much as we hoped they would. As fate would have it we got the opportunity to buy the neighboring farm and it too was some of that same sheriff’s farm, so it passed from his family to our family. We picked a good spot to build on, just up the hill from a creek with no name. In the dog days of summer the water in that creek is always low so my wife and kids and I call it Low Creek. Today we practice rotational grazing, drilled wells provide fresh water to the drinking systems for the cattle. Here at Low Creek Beef we set the standard high to provide our customers with premium grass fed beef. We are a small farm, so our livelihood depends on your satisfaction and we would like the opportunity to serve you. We are always looking for ways to improve our farming methods, and our quality of forage which reflects in our cattle. We will need to expand our operation in the future to keep up with a growing demand for your God given right to eat better beef.
